Kate begins her 7500km journey from the Cape Byron Lighthouse, Australia’s most easterly point, heading west to Lismore. She then diverts off the main road into the heart of the Great Dividing Range, meeting individuals who are protecting the beautiful landscape of the country.

Breaking the Cycle: Education aims to inspire students to lead their schools, communities, countries, and the world in making positive change by utilizing founder, Dr Kate Leeming's journeys as a source of innovation and creativity. Kate has cycled a distance of more than twice around the world and on every continent (except Antarctica - that's next!). She has achieved several world firsts , biking through Europe, across Russia, 25,000km through Australia and west to east across Africa. Kate's projects contribute towards alleviating poverty, achieving equality and protecting the environment through education and have been supported by UNESCO.
